| Donald W. Cain, 60, Onslow, Iowa, died suddenly Wednesday, August 8, 2012, at his home. A Memorial Picnic will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, August 19, 2012, at the Chamberlain Park in Onslow. Burial will be at a later date. Lahey Funeral & Cremation Services in Wyoming is in charge of arrangements.
Donald worked in the packaging department at Pearson in Cedar Rapids for eleven years. From 1989 to 1998, he owned and operated Don's Bar & Grill in Brooklyn, Iowa, and he had also worked at Dostal Catering Services in Cedar Rapids for a couple of years.
He enjoyed spending time with his daughter, grandson, and friends and being outside.
Donald is survived by one daughter, Nicole Cain-Hilton of Cedar Rapids; one grandson Lucas; one sister, Grace Lint of Coralville; and two brothers, Richard Lint of Cedar Rapids, and Billie Lint and special friends, the Carey and Oswald families.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
