J. H. Chesire Died Following Stroke
John H. Chesire, 64, died suddenly last evening as a result of a paralytic stroke at his home, 1145 Illinois avenue southwest. Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Martin's Catholic church, and burial will be made in the Catholic cemetery here.
Mr. Chesire was born January 21, 1868, in Anamosa, Ia., and lived there until 1901, when he moved to Beadle county. He settled on a farm five miles southwest of Huron, meanwhile maintaining his residence on IIlinois avenue. He was actively engaged in farming until the fall of 1931.

He was married in 1897 in Anamosa, Ia., to Margaret Doyle. Besides his widow five children and two grand children survive.
