William B. Crawford
A Fine and Courteous Gentleman
Funeral services for William B. Crawford were held from the Devaney Funeral home to St. Peter's church at Temple Hill Sunday morning at ten o'clock, with Rev. Eugene Lorenz pastor, celebrating the requiem mass with burial in the adjoining cemetery.
Mr. Crawford a fine and courteous gentleman throughout his life, died at seven o'clock Friday evening following a lingering illness.
Wm Bernard Crawford was born at Temple Hill on January 14, 1869, the only (surviving?) child of Bernard and Mary Crawford. He received his education in the rural schools and was married October 27, 1916 to Matilda Donnelly, who survives. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Mrs. Mary Jane Ralston.
The pall bearers were: Bernard Lawless; Klorin Wallace; Leo Hughes; Peter Hirtz; John Hughes; and Frank O'Connell
