| Albert W. "Bill" Crump, 88, of 6325 Rockwell Drive NE formerly of Anamosa died Friday December 2, 2011 at his home. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Anamosa where friends may call after 10:00 AM on Friday. Inurnment in Barry, Illinois. Iowa Cremation is in charge of arrangements.Survivors include his wife, Carol, two sons, Alan (Becky) of Rowley and Richard (fiancée, Susan) of Anamosa; two daughters, Barbara Crawford of Louisville, Kentucky and Rebecca (Toby) Joseph of West Des Moines; a brother Richard (Dixie) of Olathe, Kansas and a sister, Mary Lee Lister of Barry, Illinois. He s also survived by three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.Bill was born on February 7, 1923 in Barry, Illinois, the son of Alva and Lillian Robb Crump. He was an Eagle Scout and graduated from the University of Illinois. Bill married Carol M. Kraft on September 28, 1947 in Quincy, Illinois.Bill was the state manager for Moorman Feed Co. in Eastern Iowa for many years, retiring in 1985. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Anamosa, the American Legion, and proudly served in the Marines in both WWII and the Korean War. Bill enjoyed mushroom hunting, golf, fishing and especially the time he spent with his beloved family and friends.Memorial donations may be given to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Camp Courageous or to the charity of the donor's choice.
