Maquoketa – The body of Mrs. Vergil Carr, 26, whose death occurred Saturday night in University hospital, Iowa City, was brought here to the Buchner mortuary, and funeral services will be held there at 2 o’clock, Wednesday afternoon.
Burial will be in Hickory Grove cemetery, near Emeline.
Mrs. Carr, who was Nellie Mae Ralston before her marriage, was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Ralston, of near Emeline. The family home is in Jones county, on an Onslow rural route. He father preceded her in death in September 1934, and her husband, mother and a number of brothers and sisters survive.
