A terrible accident happened to Johanna Tobiason, of Wayne township, last Thuraduy morning, which cost her her life the following morning. She started to build a fire in the furnace and poured in some kerosene oil. There evidently was some fire in the furnace for the kerosene burst into flames and the can exploded, throwing the fluid over her clothing, burning her terribly. She suffered greatly until death came to her relief. She was the third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Tobiassen and was about nineteen years of age. The funeral was held Sunday P.M. at the church in Wayne and was very largely attended.
