Wylie Bret Tredway

Wylie Tredway, 52, died Sunday, October 7, 2012, while fishing on the Wapsi River near Hale, Iowa.
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday morning, October 13, 2012 at the Wyoming Cemetery. Goettsch Funeral Home, Monticello, Iowa, is in charge of arrangements.
Wylie Bret Tredway was born March 19, 1960, at John McDonald Hospital, Monticello. He was the son of Alvin Dudley and Donna Jeanne (Bonney) Tredway. Wylie graduated from Midland Community Schools in 1979. He married Michelle Van Dorn on March 28, 1981, at the Methodist Church in Wyoming. The couple later divorced. He went to work at Gerdau Steel in Wilton, Iowa, where he was employed at the time of his death. Wylie was a crane operator in the rolling mill. Wylie enjoyed family and friends, fishing, hunting and being outside.
He is survived by two sons, Seth of Indianola, Iowa and Bret of Dubuque; his former wife, Michelle Tredway, Des Moines; a brother, Alvin (Patty) Tredway, Scotch Grove, Iowa; and a sister, Mona (Rodney) Heister, Bellevue, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister and brother-in-law, Oneita and William Heister, and two nieces, Christine Tredway and Amanda Heister.
