Center Junction; born January 31, 1837, in Perthshire, Scotland; he came to Jones Co., with his parents. in 1855; he owns 180 acres of land; has always been a School Director. Married Margaret Smith May 28, 1860; she was born in Scotland; have two children—John A. and Eliza A.; lost Margaret E. in infancy. Republican; Presbyterian Church.
