| WILLIAM MONCRIEFF, farmer, Scotch Grove Twp., Sec. 31; P.O. Center Junction; born in Ireland in 1827; came to this country in 1844; lived in the State of New York about two years; thence to Pennsylvania; came to Jones Co, in 1853; came to his present location in 1863. He married Martha Carson, a native of Scotland; they have five children—William J., Margaret J., Robert, Charles and Samuel. Mr. Moncrieff's farm contains 170 acres of land.
