| E. R. MURDOCK, farmer, Castle Grove Twp., Sec. 36; P.O. Monticello; was born in Delaware Co., N.Y., in 1824; when he was 10 years of age, his father removed to Tioga Co., Penn., where he lived till 32 years of age; he then went to Wisconsin, where he lived till the fall of 1862, when he came to Jones Co., and settled on his present farm; he has 135 acres of land.
