| MICHAEL QUIGLEY, farmer, Wayne Twp., Sec. 32; P.O. Anamosa; born in Ireland, county of Westmeath, in 1829; came to America in 1848, and to Jones Co. in 1870. Wife's maiden name was Margaret McElin, a native of the old country also; they were married in 1849; have had eleven children, seven are living—James, Mary, Ann, Ellen, Elizabeth, Julia, Kate. Mr. Quigley and his family are Catholics; he is Democrat; owns eighty acres.
