| H. C. SCOTT, farmer, Sec. 35; P.O. Mechanicsville; born December 22, 1832, in Montgomery Co., Ind.; in 1837, came to Pioneer Grove, Cedar Co., Iowa, with his parents; in 1858, he came to his present farm. He owns 332 acres of land. Married Miss Maria Todd in 1858; she was born in Ohio; have six children—Eva Jane, Francis, Olive I., Henry W., Blanche and Bertha. Democrat.
