| MRS. ANN SULLIVAN, farmer, Wayne Twp., Sec. 29; P.O. Anamosa; born in Springfield, Ill., in 1844; came to Jones Co. in 1869, where she has since resided. Her husband, Mr. John Sullivan, died in January, 1871; they were married in 1862; have had five children, three of whom are living—Daniel, Mary and James; those dead were named Michael and Ellen. Mrs. Sullivan and her children are Catholics. She owns seventy-six acres of land.
