VINCENT ZELLERS, farmer, Oxford Twp., Sec. 17; P.O. Oxford Junction; born in Bavaria, in 1824; came to America in 1853, and settled in Cincinnati in 1884; and then to St. Louis in 1854; then to Keokuk, Iowa, until 1860; then to Jones Co., and now owns 120 acres. He made all the improvements on the place; has a fine house and barn. His wife, Eliza Wolf, was born in Germany, at Wurtemberg, in 1829; came to America in 1849, and to Iowa in 1860. Married in 1855; have four children—Magdalene (died in 1858), Tomi (died in 1871), Vincent (died in 1871); Joseph (now living at home).
