The records for Bowen's Prairie Cemetery are incomplete (especially in the 1854/56 timeframe). There are 2 additions to this cemetery. Whittemore addition (W) and Craig's addition (C). Craig's addition is small and near Hwy 151. Many of these tombstones are gone. Bill Corbin has been replacing some of the wooden markers with very nice new wooden markers.

The other source is a family bible that lists her birth as May 27, 1844, but a note mentions a daughter, Ida Belle Davis, gave that information. Margaret did not have a daughter named Ida nor one married to a Davis. Her eldest was Ora Belle who married a Dearborn, but that is the closest. Also, her death date on the wooden marker has the incorrect month as she died in March, not May, per the death notice published in The Manchester Press on March 17, 1882, and an article under the Sand Springs news, page 3, dated March 14, 1882.
