Pfc. Chas. Jensen Killed in Italy

Pfc. Charles A. Jensen died on March 12, 1945, from wounds suffered in action in Italy, according to a war department telegram received by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Jensen of Onslow. Pfc. Jensen had been in service since April of 1941 and was home on furlough in December, 1944, after serving several months overseas. At the expiration of his furlough he rejoined his unit in Italy.

Surviving are his parents, one brother, Lawrence of Onslow; three sisters, Mrs. Merle Welty of Davenport, Mrs. Daryl Jansen and Mrs. Harold Westphal of Onslow.
