Isaac Ackerman

| Mr. Isaac Ackerman of this city, died on last Tuesday morning, the 10th inst. at 11o'clock. He was born in Shenango county, New York, December 29th 1827, and was married to Catherine Babcock, October 29th, 1848. They removed to this county in 1855. Five Children were born to them, two of whom are living. Mr. Ackerman served two and a half years as a member of company G of the Eighth Iowa Cavalry, in the war of the rebellion, being discharged at its close. The funeral services were conducted today, at the residence, by Rev. David Street.
