| Ivetta E. Matejka, 95, of Wyoming passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at the Hospice Care Unit in St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at Lahey Funeral home in Wyoming. Family and friends, called from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Burial was at the Wyoming Cemetery.
Ivetta E. Matejka was born April 19, 1918 in Wyoming, Iowa to Henry and Elsie (Holub) Bramer. She graduated from Wyoming High School in 1935. On May 25, 1942 she was united in marriage to Ernest Matejka.
She worked as a telephone operator from 1935 - 1949 in Wyoming. She and her husband owned the school buses, where she drove the East Ridge Bus from 1949 - 1960.
She is survived by two nieces, Sandra Etter of Texas, and Marcia Eichorn of Indiana, and one great-nephew Brian Etter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother and one sister.
