| Eloise W. Westphal, 82, of Wyoming died Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Prairie Hills Assisted Living in Independence, Iowa.
Funeral services celebrating her life were held on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 10:30 A.M. at Zion American Lutheran Church in Wyoming. Family and friends called for fellowship on Saturday from 9:00 to 10:15 A.M. at Zion American Lutheran Church. Burial was at the Wyoming Cemetery.
Eloise W. Brunscheen was born May 9, 1931 in Tipton, Iowa to Wilhelm and Freida (Gerberding) Brunscheen. She is a member of Zion American Lutheran Church in Wyoming.
She is survived by four children; Kristene (Donna Sovensen) Westphal of Iowa City, Steven (Joyce) Westphal of Winterset, Barbra (Brian) Hayek of Fairbank, and Patti Meyer of Independence; six grandchildren, and one sister Bernice Freese.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clare Westphal, Jr., and a brother Edwin Brunscheen.
