| Beverly Darrow, 69, of Hopkinton died Sunday, June 19, 2005, at her home, following a long battle with cancer.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. (today) Wednesday, June 22, 2005, at graveside in the Hopkinton Cemetery. Goettsch Funeral Home, Monticello, is in charge of the arrangements.
Surviving are four children, Dasil (Beverly) Darrow of Waverly, Steve (Pham) Darrow of Monticello, Trent Darrow and special friend Angela, Luane, Sis Sly, all of Hopkinton; 11 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a sister, Patty (Dave) Norton of Monticello.
Beverly Ann Buresh was born May 5, 1936 at Wyoming, Iowa, the daughter of Albert and Maxine Luke Buresh. Bev received her education in the Oxford Junction schools. She married Duane Darrow in February of 1951 at Oxford Junction. The couple later divorced. Bev worked as a bartender and waitress, at the Showroom in Hopkinton. She and her son Trent had operated the B & W Bar.
Beverly was an avid reader and enjoyed visiting and getting books at all the area libraries.
