| Joseph Edwin Burgess, 79, of Olin passed away on July 3, 2015 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids.Joseph’s family has granted his wishes of cremation and no services. Lahey Funeral Home in Olin is assisting the family with their services.Joseph was born on August 22, 1935 in Anamosa, Iowa to Charles Edwin and Mary Eleanor (Barker) Burgess. He graduated from Olin High School in 1954.He is survived by a sister Mary Jean Burgess of Cedar Rapids and a brother Charles Roger Burgess of Roseville, California.He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister Joyce in 1968.
