John Busker Passed Away Last Monday
Funeral services were held yesterday for John Busker, for many years a resident of Wayne Township. They were held at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran church in charge of Rev. Paul T. Gutknecht. Interment was made at the cemetery adjoining the church. Busker was born in Germany in April, 1875. He came to the United States with his father and sister when a small boy. The family settled on a farm near Langworthy. He is the sole survivor of his father's family.
During the past 28 years he has made his home with his cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Wolken. Two weeks ago, Busker was accidentally knocked down by a car near Langworthy. Since that time his health gradually became worse. He was taken to the McDonald hospital a week ago where his death occurred Monday morning.
He is survived by the following cousins, John and Ben Wolken, Mrs. John Jansen, and Mrs. Gerd Bunting.
