Doris Maxine Clark Sealls

Doris M. Sealls, 95, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Martelle and Olin, Iowa, died Thursday, March 18, 2010, at the Woodlands Nursing Home in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Services were held on Monday, March 22, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. at Lahey Funeral Home in Olin, with Pastor Pat Slater officiating. Family and friends called from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Lahey Funeral Home in Olin. Burial was in Olin Cemetery, Olin, Iowa.
Doris Maxine Clark was born January 13, 1915, in Linn County, Iowa, to Burtie Jay Clark and Frances Austa (Arbingast) Clark. She graduated from Martelle High School, Martelle, Iowa. She married Edmond Thomas Sealls on July 6, 1937 in Lebanon, Missouri. He died in August 1990.
She worked in the cafeteria at McKinley Junior High in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and retired from Armstrong's in Cedar Rapids.
She is survived by two sons, Burl Sealls of Des Moines, and Craig (Gretchen) Sealls of Cedar Rapids; three grandchildren, Nicholas Sealls of Austin, Texas, Travis (Whitney) Sealls of Indianapolis, Indiana, Courtney (Sandy) Sanfilippo of Sicily, Italy; three great-grandchildren; Alfio & Alejandro Clark Sanfilippo, and Alden Sealls; and one brother, Homer (Lorraine) Clark of Anamosa.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
