Retired Ssgt. Roger K. Clark, 73, of Wyoming, Iowa, died Thursday, November 1, 2012, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Service of Remembrance was held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 4, 2012, at Lahey Funeral Home in Oxford Junction, where friends called on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until the service time. Burial was in the Mayflower Cemetery, Oxford Junction, Iowa, with military honors by the Lost Nation American Legion Menzo Wilde Post #381. Roger K. Clark was born June 27, 1939 in Iowa City, Iowa, to Orphesus and Elizabeth (Dague) Clark. He served in the U. S. Air Force, retiring as a welder. He was a member of the Lost Nation American Legion Menzo Wilde Post #381. Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Clark of Wyoming; nine children, Greg Harris, Teresa Donaldson, Maria Dunkel, Roger Clark, Jr., Sue Clark, Tracey Medinger, Calvin Clark, Stuart Clark and Albert Clark; four step-children, Angela Grove, Dominic Lehay, Kaleen Nordgulen and James Swank; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister, Ann (Ted) Miller of Maquoketa; and nieces and nephews.
