Amy Elizabeth Driver
February 5, 1980 – July 25, 2015
Amy E. Driver, 35, of Oxford Junction passed away on July 25, 2015.
Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Oxford Junction. A visitation will be held from 3:30 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 31, 2015 at Lahey Funeral Home in Oxford Junction. Her final resting place will be at Massillion Cemetery.
Amy Elizabeth Driver was born on February 5, 1980 in Iowa City to Anthony and Thyrza (Crofton) Driver. She graduated from Midland High School in 1999 and attended Scott Community College. She had worked at a medical lab in the Quad Cities before becoming a stay-at-home mom.
She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Oxford Junction. She enjoyed the outdoors whether it be sitting by the river, going camping or hanging out at Uncle Joe’s Farm. She had a bubbly personality, was always happy and would do whatever she could to help others. Amy loved spending time with her family and friends and took the most pride and enjoyment in being a mom.
Those left to honor Amy’s memory are her parents, two children, Emery John and Scott Joseph Wood, all of Oxford Junction; her sister Lora Driver of San Diego, CA; six aunts and uncles; Marie Jannette of Dubuque, John Driver of Westby, WI, Joseph Driver of East Moline, IL, Theresa Driver of Cedar Rapids, Mary (Marc) Keefer of Littleton, CO, Paul Driver of Cedar Rapids; her boyfriend Alex Wood and his mother Lonni Wood, both of Oxford Junction; her dog Homer and her cat Matrix.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Lorrane (Henry) Driver, Edward, Lucille and Lorina Crofton and her boyfriend’s father Harold Wood.
