Douglas D. Eden

Douglas D. Eden, 52, of Wellman, formerly of Anamosa, passed away on April 16, 2017, at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin, after a twenty-five year battle with liver disease.
Doug was born and raised in Anamosa. He graduated from Anamosa Senior High School in 1983 and the University of Iowa. He had a variety of occupations over the years including Campus Amoco, Moore Business Forms and Geico Insurance in Iowa City and English River Antiques in Kalona.
Doug Eden married Kay Kolosiek, and they later divorced.
Doug leaves behind a son, Hunter of Kalona, his parents, Ivan and Linda Eden of Anamosa, brother, Dennis (Tina) Eden and nephews, John and Ben Eden of Vinton as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of Doug’s life will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 Thursday evening, April 20, 2017, at the Lawrence Community Center in Anamosa. A private family graveside service will be at a later date. Goettsch Funeral Home in Anamosa, is in charge of the arrangements.
