| Lila (Fall) Aikman of Piedmont, AL, formerly of Olin and Hale, died at the home of her son in Piedmont on Dec. 14, 2016.Lila was born on Aug. 24, 1929 to Leo and Fawnie Fall in Hale. She graduated from Olin High School and worked for several years as bookkeeper at the Olin Cheese Factory. She married Floyd Aikman and traveled to Germany and New Jersey. They later divorced. For the past several years she made her home in Alabama near her son, glen and later moved into his home.Lila was preceded in death by a son, Gayle; her parents; four brothers and a sister.She is survived by her son, Glen; a grandson, Glen R. (Jamie) and a great granddaughter, Lila Marie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.Burial will be at a later date in Piedmont.
