Miss Evalena Folkers, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Folkers who live in the vicinity of Langworthy, died at the home of her parents, last Monday evening, following an illness of five weeks' duration. At the time of her death the little girl was thirteen years of age. She was afflicted with a severe case of influenza sometime ago, which resulted in her contracting a bad case of inflamatory rheumatism, which together with other complications caused her death. The little girl is survived by her parents and a brother and sister. The funeral services were held this afternoon at one o'clock. Short services were held at the family home, and final services at the Zion's Lutheran church in Wayne township. The services were conducted by the pastor of that church, Rev. John Willms. Burial was held at Wayne Center cemetery.
