Royal "Roy" Furne

| Roy Furne, 54, of Liberty, Missouri, formerly of Oxford Junction, died July 11, 2012. He is survived by his children: Cody, Jed, and Kristy Furne, all of Kearney, Missouri; his mother, Dorothy Furne of Ottumwa; sisters, Lonni Koch of Mechanicsville & Jamie Slouha of Lost Nation; former wife, Nancy Furne of Kearney, Missouri; and grandson, Jazik Furne of Liberty, Missouri; and numerous nieces and nephews, Roy was preceded in death by his father, Jim Furne.
He worked as an electrician for Pro Circuit Electric and was previously with the Railroad for seventeen years. He enjoyed working on cars and liked motorcycles. Roy graduated from Oxford Junction High School in 1976.
A Celebration of Life was Friday, July 13 at Archer-Pasley Funeral Home, Liberty, Missouri.
