Myrtle Agnes Garson Marshall

Myrtle A. Marshall, 97, of Wyoming, Iowa, died Tuesday, January 31, 2012, at Anamosa Care Center in Anamosa, Iowa.
Graveside services and burial will be held on Friday, February 3, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at Wyoming Cemetery in Wyoming, Iowa. Friends may call on Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Lahey Funeral Home in Wyoming.
Myrtle Agnes Garson was born September 13, 1914, in Morse, Minnesota, the daughter of Ole M. and Severine M. (Haga) Garson. She graduated from Calamus High School. She was united in marriage to Charles L. Marshall on August 1, 1942 in Sabula, Iowa. He died on August 15, 1968.
Myrtle was a printer and owned and operated Crescent Printing Company in Wyoming. She was a member of the Wyoming United Methodist Church and a member and past president of the American Legion Auxiliary for many years.
She is survived by two daughters, Marlene R. Eichhorn of Marion and Nancy L. Hayes of Tallassee, Alabama; one step-son, Charles E. Marshall of Cottage Grove, Oregon; twelve grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a sister and brother.
