| Mary Ann Griswold, 62, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away November 19, 2012 in her home following an extended illness. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories with visitation an hour before. Inurnment in the Wyoming Cemetery, Wyoming, Iowa.
Mary was born October 18, 1950 in Anamosa, Iowa to Raymond and Lillian (Hamdorf) Griswold. She graduated from Midland Community High School in Wyoming, Iowa. Mary attended Central College in Pella and completed her teaching degree at Iowa State University. She later completed a Masters Degree in Guidance Counseling and was currently working in the Linn-Marr High School as a guidance counselor.
Mary is survived by her brother, Jan (Beverly) Griswold and sister Rita Spratt; aunt Elgeva Stolte; eight nieces and nephews, and nine great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
