Lyman C. Hall
June 22, 1851–February 1920
Buckhorn, February 14 (1920) Lyman C. Hall, 69, died suddenly at 7 p.m. Friday of heart failure at his home here. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Buchner chapel in Maquoketa. The Rev. H. H. Dill, pastor of the Maquoketa M. E. church will officiate. Burial will be in the Buckhorn cemetery for which the deceased was sexton for many years.
Mr. Hall was born June 22, 1851, in Onslow. His mother died when he was but three years old during the time his father was in the Union forces of the Civil War. He married Eva Crezlin, December 21, 1881, in Maquoketa. He spent his entire life in Maquoketa, Buckhorn and Nashville. He has been an active member of the Maquoketa Methodist church.
Left to mourn are his sister, Mrs. E. N. Walker, Maquoketa, brother Charles, and half brother, James, Maquoketa.
