Funeral services for Mrs. Henry Tuetken, whose death occurred at the McDonald hospital on the morning of August 7 were held Saturday afternoon at St. Mathew's Lutheran church. Rev. Henry L. Adix, pastor of the church, officiated. Burial was made at Oakwood cemetery. The pallbearers were Carl Fuss, John Prull, Chris Eiben, John Tapken, Tobais Hinrichs and Hei Schoon.
Mrs. Tuetken was Anna Hanken before her marriage and was born April 11, 1871, in Wiesede, Repaholt, Germany. She was married to Henry Tuetken, March 8, 1894. Their home was made on a farm near Monticello until they retired from active farm life and came to Monticello to live at 239 East Second street.
Mrs. Tuetken is survived by her husband, a daughter, Mrs. William Lang of Hopkinton, and two sons, Paul of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and William E. Tuetken of Monticello. She is also survived by a brother, A. Gerhard Hanken, Monticello, two sisters in Germany, eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
