Bradley William Hansen was born on September 15, 1957, in Maquoketa to John (Bill) and Lulu (Lorenzen) Hansen. He was also a Garst seed corn dealer for over twenty years.
Brad’s generosity was never ending, from his support of the Midland Athletics and FFA programs to attending any benefit in the surrounding area. He also volunteered his time where needed, including the Wyoming Fair and The Great Jones County Fair. He was a member of the Jones County Extension and past President of the Olin Jaycees.
He was an avid collector of history books, especially Jones County history and he enjoyed watching westerns. He loved to travel and always looked forward to his yearly motorcycle trip and going to casinos. He was an avid hunter, bowled, played slow-pitch softball and enjoyed attending and helping at tractor pulls. His grandchildren were his life.
Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, John (Bill) and Lula Hansen of Wyoming, daughter Melissa (Kevin) Kiburz of Scotch Grove, son Travis (Elisha) Hansen of Wyoming; five grandchildren, Kelsey, Royce, Landri, Quinn and Case; siblings Brenda (Bob) Warner of Cedar Rapids, Brock (Michelle) Hansen of Wyoming, and Pam (Mike) Williams of Wyoming; the mother of his children Connie (Terry) Harris of Monmouth and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
