| Jens Christian Hansen was born May 20, 1846 in Hatteatedt, Schlesweg Holstein, Germany, and passed away at Olin, Iowa, Nov. 29th, 1921, aged 75 years, 6 mo. and 9 days.He was married to Christina Elizabeth Peterson on the 25th, of Nov 1873, and to this union were born six children.He leaves to mourn his departure, five children, Hans, Peter, Thomas, Johannes and Mrs John Peterson, also seven grandchildren.His wife preceded him in Oct 1906 his son August in Sept 1908.The deceased, came to America in May 1907 and spent most of the years in this community.He was an invalid for nearly five years, during "this time he made his home with his son Thomas at whose home he passed away quite suddenly.Funeral services were held Friday forenoon and the body laid to rest beside that of his son August In the Wyoming Cemetry.
