Ross Aaron Henderson

Ross Henderson, 59, of Olin, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City.
His funeral service was held on Monday, July 25, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Olin, Iowa. A visitation was held on Sunday, July 24 from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Lahey Funeral Home in Olin. Burial as held at the Olin Cemetery following the service.
Ross Aaron Henderson was born on May 26, 1957 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Dean and Rosetta (Lyon) Henderson.
Ross was an Olin High School graduate. He farmed the family farm and later worked at Jeff Hanken Construction Company and PMX.
Ross was a member of 4-H. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, hunting, and playing slow-pitch softball. He loved his dogs, and farming. He often took joy in boating, skiing, and racing stock cars. He especially enjoyed time he spent with his girls and grandkids.
Those left to cherish his memories are his two daughters: Stacey (K.C.) Fuhrmeister of Anamosa and Hilary (Steve) Ruzas of Yorkville, Illinois; five grandkids: Jackson, Trenton, Cooper, Grant and Avery, sisters; Jana Henderson of Anamosa, Deanne Henderson Dunn of Roseville, Minnesota, niece, Meghann (Michael) Masters of St. Paul, Minnesota, and great nephew, Ethan Masters.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
