| CASCADE – Cornelius Hirtz, 58, resident of Washington township, Jones county, died at a Dubuque hospital Sunday from a heart attack. He was born in Temple Hill, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Hirtz. He was married to Annette O’Connell who, with the following children, survive him: Mrs. Joseph Streng, Jr., Joseph and Paul, all of Cascade; the following brothers and sister: Peter, Harry and Thomas, all of Cascade, Mrs. Matt Kappes, Mrs. George Klinkner, both of Cascade, and Mrs. George Leonard of Farmer, South Dakota. His parents and one brother preceded him in death. Funeral services were held at St. Peter’s church, Temple Hill, Tuesday morning, where a mass of requiem will be read by the Rev. E. J. Lorenz. Burial will be made in St. Peters cemetery.
