Virgil Hoffner October 3, 1971 - October 19, 2013 Virgil L. Hoffner, 42, of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, died Sunday, October 19, 2013 at his residence.
Virgil was born October 3, 1971, in Anamosa, the son of August and Barbara (Posusta) Hoffner. He moved to Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin in 1991. Virgil married Angela Christner in Eau Claire. They later divorced.
He was employed at Badger Iron Works, Plumber Concrete and later at Wieser Concrete. He was a very hardworking person and had a passion for working on cars. Virgil enjoyed mud racing and loved to fish and hunt. He dearly loved his granddaughter, Maddisen.
Survivors include his two daughters, Leeah and Lacey; granddaughter Maddisen; mother Barbara Hoffner of Oxford Junction; one brother Vince Hoffner of Texas; two sisters, Victoria "Tootie" (Harry) Dundee of Onslow, and Virginia (Brent Hussmann) of Monticello; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He is preceded in death by his father and one sister, Vicky Clark.
He was a very kind man and would do anything for someone else.
