On Friday evening May 27, 2011 Everett Lee Johnson of rural Onslow went peacefully to be with his wife, Josephine Leigh Johnson, who also went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 17, 2011.
As per their wishes there will be no services at this time.

September 21, 2012
Everettand Josephine Johnson, upon their death, wished to donate their bodies to the University of Iowa, deeded body program. At the conclusion of the program, their bodies were cremated.
A memorial graveside service is being planned for Sunday, September 30, 2012 at 1 p.m. at the South Mineral Cemetery, rural Onslow. Ruth Ann Scott will officiate at the service.
