FUNERAL RITES HELD FOR WOMAN
Onslow – November 8 (Special) Funeral services for Mrs. T. B. Johnston were held Sunday afternoon from her late home, and were in charge of the Rev. F. L. Provan, pastor of the Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Walter Koon and Mrs. Howard Willison sang two selections, accompanied by Mrs. J. M. Macauley.
Pallbearers were George Lyons, N. C. Holst, B. W. Streeper, J. R. Kennedy, and Howard Willison. Burial was in the family lot in the Wyoming Cemetery. Mrs. Johnston died at her home Friday morning, after an illness of several years.
Among those to attend from out of town were, Mr. and Mrs. Charles McKinstry, Mrs. Otto Woodyard and son, Duane, and Mrs. W. H. Frisby, of Waterloo; Mr. and Mrs. H. Rutenbeck, of Lost Nation; Mr. and Mrs. Ed Furrow and daughter, Mrs. John Stickley, Mrs. Margaret Hall and Miss Irene Hall, of Cedar Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. R. D. Cooley, the Misses Moran and Snyder of Anamosa; Mr. and Mrs. Ed Franks and son, Dillon, of Lisbon; Mrs. Laura Smith of Clinton; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Fagan and son, of Anamosa; Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Bickford and Miss Lillie Dye, of Monmouth, and Mr. and Mrs. Ryland Dreibilbis, of Jefferson, Wisconsin.
