LYNDONVILLE, N.Y.—Funeral service was held for John G. Joslin, 93, Sunday, Oct. 9. Mr. Joslin died on Oct. 6 at his home here after three years of poor health. Burial was at Lyndonville.
Mr. Joslin was born near Anamosa, the only son of John W. and Sarah Joslin. He was graduated from Anamosa school. He was married to Belle Kidwell and eight children were born; Douglas and Mrs. Anna Houlette, Kenosha, Wisc.; Jay and Mrs. Nina Leach, Lyndonville, N. Y.; Romney, Latonia, Ky.; Glann G.; Anamosa; Emma and Irene preceded him in death.
Mrs. Joslin died in 1884 and five year later he was married to Miss Nella Morehouse, Lyndonville. Twin daughters were born, Mrs. Frank Bale (Azella), Lyndonville, and Azena, who died in infancy.
Mr. Joslin was Fairview township assessor for a number of years. He also served as director and president of the schoolboard.
Mrs. Joslin, 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren survive.
