| Linda M. Joslin Reed, 67, of Marion died Friday, November 25, 2011 at the University of Iowa Hospitals, surrounded by the warmth of family and friends. Per Linda's request her body was donated to the University of Iowa for research. There will be a memorial service held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 10th at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include two sons, Rick Ellison of Atkins and his children Tyler and Megan, and Vaughn (Michelle) Ellison of Delhi and their children Tanner and Jobe; a daughter, Melissa (Jason) Bennett of Des Moines; two brothers Virgil (Pat) Grimm of Madrid and Kevin (Becky) Grimm of Delmar and a sister Nancy Nance of Spirit Lake. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Lola Ellison, two brothers, Steve and Allen and two sisters, Kathy and Beverly.
Linda was born on July 19, 1944 in Anamosa, the daughter of Perry and Clara (Easterly) Joslin. She was a cook for many years. Linda enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking, baking, trying new recipes and especially the time she spent with her beloved family and many friends.
