| Sharyn K. Jensen, 61, of Oxford Junction, Iowa, died Monday evening, September 10, 2012, at her home.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 15, 2012, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Oxford Junction. Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at Lahey Funeral Home in Oxford Junction. Burial will be in Mayflower Cemetery, Oxford Junction, Iowa.
Sharyn was born September 13, 1950, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Leonard and Dorothy (Nowachek) Joslin. She married Larry L. Jensen on May 15, 1971 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Oxford Junction, Iowa. He died on April 11, 2002.
Sharyn was an insurance associate for Dobling Insurance in Oxford Junction. She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Oxford Junction. She liked to play cards, visit the casinos, and spend time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by one daughter, Barbara (Mark) Sons of DeWitt; one son, Darrin Jensen of Anamosa; three grandchildren, Ethan, Emily and Charlea; and one brother, Donald Joslin of North Liberty.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one sister, Barb Joslin and one brother, Leonard.
