Ida Louise Ketelsen Prull

Funeral services for Ida Louise Prull, 87, will be held Wednesday, January 12, 1994 (today) at St. Paul's Lutheran church in Anamosa with burial in Oakwood Cemetery, Monticello. The Rev. Jane Hagstrom officiated at the services.
Ida Louise Prull, formerly of Anamosa died Sunday, January 9 at the Senior Home, Monticello.
Ida Louise Ketelsen was born October 6, 1906 at Center Junctiion, the daughter of Carsten and Anna (Yetter) Ketelsen. She received her early education in the Monticello schools. She then engaged in restaurant work, also working at the John McDonald Hospital.
Ida Louise Ketelsen and William H. Prull were married August 2, 1927 at Monticello. The couple farmed near Center Junction for four years. In 1931, the couple moved to a farm near Martelle and farmed there for forty-five years. They retired in 1976 and moved to Anamosa. Her husband died September 5, 1987. She moved to the Senior Home in December of 1988.
Survivors include three sons: Robert of Anamosa, Ralph of Visalia, California, Larry of Cedar Rapids; three daughters, Betty McCarty of Anamosa, Mary Jo Nagel of Laguna Beach, California and Lorna Ellis of Manchester. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and four sisters.
Goettsch Funeral Home, Anamosa, was in charge of arrangements.
