|Funeral services for Frank Kiburz, 79, will be held today (Thursday) at 1:30 o'clock at Goettsch funeral home. The Rev. John Benjamin Wild will officiate. Interment will be in Oakwood cemetery.
Mr. Kiburz died at his home Monday evening, November 3, following a lengthy illness. He was born January 10, 1890, near Monticello in Richland township, the son of Nelson and Linda (Albinger) Kiburz.
He received his education in Monticello area schools. On February 4, 1925, he married Thelma Welch in Monticello. The couple farmed near Scotch Grove until they moved to Monticello in 1953.
He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, William F. of St. Joseph, Missouri and Kenneth H. of Marion; a daughter, Mrs. Roland (Anna Linda) Ganzer of Wheatland; eleven grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Casket bearers are Louie Hanken, Theodore Rieniets, August Brokens, Henry Heiken, Walter Eby and Stuart Leggett.
