| The funeral services of the late Nellie Leinen was held from the Baptist church yesterday morning. Rev. W. E. Glanville officiating. Deceased was the daughter of Nicholas Leinen residing southeast of Anamosa, and a sister of our townsman, Ed Leinen. Quick consumption which annually reaps a tremendous harvest even in Iowa, carried her off. Our subject was in her twenty-fifth year at the time of her death. During the last few years of her life she had made her home more or less in Anamosa and during this period noble character won her hosts of friends in whose memory she will ever abide. The remains were interred in Riverside Cemetery.
