Daniel Livingston
June 10, 1821 – September 23, 1901
Mr. Dan Livingston, for more than sixty years a resident of this vicinity, died at the county house, last Sunday, and was buried in Oakwood cemetery, at Monticello, last Monday. Mr. Livingston was one of the pioneers of Jones and Delaware counties. He came hero with the Red River emigrants about 1838, and lived in this vicinity, and also in the neighborhood of Sand Spring, in Delaware county, until he took up his abode in the county house, a year or two ago. He was eighty years of age.
