Funeral Services Held Last Friday at Olin

OLIN—Funeral sercice for Glen Lloyd, 55, Olin, were held Friday, Feb, 17, at Rev. George K. Tjaden officiated. Burial was in the Olin cemetery. Mr. Lloyd died in his sleep Wednesday, Feb. 15.
Glen Lloyd was born Sept. 18, 1900, in Johnstown, Pa., the son of Harry and Alice Lloyd. At an early age he moved with his parents to Hossuth county, Iowa, where he was readed and educated.
He was united in marriage with Elsie Fay Rowell at Blue Earth, Minn., Jan 27. 1927. Most of his married life was spent farming in the Olin vicinity where he lived until January, 1951, when he suffered a stroke.
Survivors include his wife; four children, Edward Glenn, Wyoming, Mrs Richard (Velma Lorraine) Clasen of Maquoketa, Shirley and Grene, at home; four brothers, Jim, Alvin, Merle and Ben; four sisters, Nettie Rowell, Mabel Coon, Emmoline Brown and Violet Lloyd; three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and two brothers.
