|SERVICES FOR JAMES LLOYD HELD MARCH 8
James Lee Lloyd, 56, Anamosa, died at Veteran's hospital in Iowa City Friday, March 5,1976 after an illness of several weeks.
He was born near Anamosa, May 19, 1919, the son of James and Harriet Bruce Lloyd. He received his education in the area schools and served in the United States Army during WWII.
He is survived by a sister, Mrs George (Julia) White of Clinton, and two brothers Leo Lloyd of Cedar Rapids and Dale Lloyd of Anamos. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
Funeral services were held at the Goettsch Funeral home Monday, March 8 at 1:30 p.m with Rev. Donald Wells officiating Interment was in Cass Cemetery.
Casket bearers were Charles Highley, Jess Meade, Jerry Glick, Mike Lewin, Albert Humpal and Merle Robinson.
