| WYOMING—The funeral of Mabel Coon, 87, was held at Hayden Funeral home in Wyoming Saturday, July 23, at 1:30 p.m. Burial was in Mayflower cemetery at Oxford Jct. Mrs Coon died at Anamosa Care Center July 20.
She was born in Pennsylvania April 3, 1890 daughter of Harry and Alice Legard Lloyd. She Married Fred Coon March 8, 1926 at Anamosa. The couple lived in Oxford Jct. and Hale areas all their life.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Nettie Rowell, Maquoketa; and Mrs. Emaline Braun, Hale and one brother, Merle Lloyd, Independence.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, one sister, four brothers and one grandson.
